REVIEW ~ No Grade (NG) 1/144 God Gundam

Good day friends!

So here's a review of the No Grade (NG) 1/144 God Gundam from the G Gundam series. As the title and the unit name says, it is the main character's mobile suit.

Pardon me for the crappy quality (again) of the pics. I will have it remastered maybe next week with the help of someone dear to me. hahaha XD

okay, without any further ado let's proceed :D

Front and Rear view

Left and Right side view

G Gundam's Beam Saber
G Gundam's Right arm - Normal Mode (left) and Bakunetsu God Finger mode (right)

ARTICULATION:

skirts can go forward that far.

Arms rotate 360 degress (if wings are closed)....

...so as the elbow joints. Head can be also rotated up to 360 degrees.

Legs can go that far, forward and backward, up to around 45-50 degrees...

...and can also move that far, left and right. knee joints can also be bent for some specific poses. feet can rotate up to 360 degrees (sorry, no pics provided)
This is G Gundam in GOD Mode. Wings of the core lander are retractable, to emphasize the god mode gimmick similar to the anime.
 THE ISSUES:

If the leg has been bent to much, skirts will be detached.

 SIZE COMPARISON:

Against a bottle of perfume
Against SD G Gundam

Against 1/144 Gundam Exia

Against 1/144 Devil Gundam (bitter enemies.. ooh!)
 ACTION POSES
Sekiha Tenkyoken

God Finger

Equipped with Beam Saber

The Good Stuff~

  • Detailwise  ~ good, for a 1994 kit.
  • Articulation ~ tight joints are good for holding parts and making superior poses
  • Plastic quality ~ very good
  • No weight issues

 The Issues~

  • Skirts are loose, easily snaps out when legs are posed.
  • Ariculation ~ lacks on the hand units (since it is a no grade kit) and due to tight joints, arms must be detached to acheive the god finger gimmick as the joints are prone to breakage

Hope you had liked the review.

Till next time!! :))

REVIEW ~ No Grade (NG) 1/144 Gundam Leopard

Hello friends! :)

So, as promised, I am going to conduct a review on my kits, the first being the no grade 1/144 Gundam Leopard from the Gundam X series. This unit reminds me of the Gundam Heavyarms from the Gundam Wing series.

By the way, I am sorry for the crappy resolution of the pics, I only used my phone's camera to take photos.

Here are some photos after I had snapbuilt and panel lined this big cat~ enjoy reading :D

FIRE POWER!!!

Why so serious? Let's put a smile on that face!

The good stuff~

  • Very good articulation for an NG kit.
  • Joints are good enough to hold the parts together.
  • Detailwise it is good.
  • No weight issues on gatling gun.
  • Really good plastic quality.
The issues~
  • Joint on the waist area is loose, that the torso seems to be wiggly.
  • Backpack is loose as well, it easily snaps out.
  • V-fin easily snaps out as well that I have to apply plastic cement.
  • Some parts require sanding in order to be even with each other.

That's my review of this cute cat, hope you had liked it :)

Stay tuned for more reviews!
